A friend requested that I start a style blog. I am not an expert in this area at all. I don’t wear makeup. I am lucky if my clothes are wrinkle free as I don’t iron. I forget to accessorize. I have been putting together outfits somewhat. I am going to attempt to post my OOTW (outfits of the week) on Saturdays. So here goes…
These linen pants popped up on my Facebook ads and the price was so good that I had to get them. They’re supposed to be cropped, but I am short so they’re pants on me.
My Vintage Silk Top is marked Compagnie Internationale Express and I have had it for about 25 years or more. I love it and I was so happy to pair it with these pants. My Sonoma Sun Hat was a birthday gift last year. It goes with this look nicely.
No daily walk is complete the without comfortable walking shoes. I chose these Skechers to complete my Bohemian look on Monday.
I added the Tree of Life Necklace and it will probably be part of most of the outfits as it is aromatherapy and I can change the essential oils out to suit my needs.
Our daily walk was a bit cooler Tuesday morning and it was windy, so I got to wear my new faux leather scalloped jacket from Cato’s, my Amazon Basic’s V-neck tee and Always joggers with my usual Skechers. I think my black or brown boots would elevate the look, but not for a walk.
Today I decided this cool morning called for jeans and a navy tee shirt. I decided to add one of my scarves for a pop of color. I believe my friend, Laura Moe, gave it to me for my birthday one year. Since it was chilly I wore my DONNI sweater I got in my FabFitFun box this winter. Paired with my Skechers and no show socks.
Today I decided to wear all white or nearly all white. It was a bit chilly so I added my vegan leather jacket again. My jeans I found on clearance are Sofia Vergara. My tank is White Stag from Walmart about 4 or 5 years ago. Earth Spirit Sandals are very comfortable. The white are currently out of stock. The brown are linked above.
I started this late so I am going to throw in a couple of past looks. I am going on a road trip with Ralph so he can help his elderly aunt, I will post travel looks next Saturday. Hopefully we can stay safe and keep Covid-19 at bay!
I’ve had these pieces in my closet for more than a few years. The top is Walmart, the shorts are from Gap and the huaraches from TJ Maxx.
All pieces in this look are from Walmart and have been in my wardrobe for more than a few years. Buy classic pieces and they can carry you through many years! It helps if your weight doesn’t yo-yo like mine, but I am working on that.
Love, Peace and Light! Rita
