What Do I Really Want For Christmas?

I just read Invisibly Me’s blog! It’s a good time to remember what chronically ill people really want for Christmas is good health. It’s something you can’t wrap up with a bow. If you cannot give what is really wanted, then try for the next best things…

1. UNDERSTANDING

2. COMPASSION

3. Something to make them more comfortable. i.e. heating pads, weighted blankets, comfy robes, etc.

4. When preparing meals keep their dietary needs in mind.

It’s the little things that show you care that will make the holidays brighter.

Love, Peace and Light! Rita
