50,000 Words in 30 Days

Well I managed to put 50,000 words on my screen in November. That doesn’t mean my novel is finished. Not by a long shot. I still have a lot of work to put in it.

What I do have is basically a first draft. Or technically, an outline. I now know my basic plot, my protagonist, supporting characters and antagonist. Nothing stayed as I envisioned it originally, but I think it’s for the best.

Now that I am not rushing to beat the clock, I can start at the beginning and change it up to make it fit the rest of the plot. I started one place and the story took its own direction.

Maybe someday it will be ready to shop around for an agent or publisher.

Love, Peace and Light! Rita

I am not crazy. I am a writer. Maybe if I didn’t write, I would go insane.
