The Day After

The day after Thanksgiving is a good day for leftovers, binge watching Netflix or one of the other multitudes of non-cable thingmajigs out there. Or do you brave the crowds and go shopping?

Ralph had to work on Friday, so I stayed in. I hate the crowds. The overstimulation of noise and lights is too much, especially with rude people grabbing for deals.

I did get some tickets to a local ballgame for opening day, but didn’t have to leave the comfort of my bed to do so.

If I could drive I would shop more local business. I do when I can online. It’s fabulous to help individuals. However. I refuse to say that shopping at major retailers doesn’t help individuals, because they employ individuals. As someone who worked for one of the biggest chains, I appreciated having a job.

What did you do the day after?

Love, Peace and Light! Rita

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Remember to be thankful everyday, not just one day of the year. I love my life. Having a chronic debilitating illness makes me appreciate the good days more. I am trying to be less grumpy, though I come by it naturally.
